The libretto, based on Sophocles’ tragedy, was written by Jean Cocteau in French and then translated by Abbé Jean Daniélou into Latin. The narration, however, is usually done in the language of the audience. The Concert took place within the framework of the Tourist Artistic Events of the Greek National Tourism Organization. |
